Shoshanah Israilevich is a cellist and pedagogue with a passion for exploring diverse musical genres and engaging with communities. Graduating from the Cleveland Institute of Music with a bachelor's degree in cello performance, she honed her skills under the mentorship of Mark Kosower and Richard Weiss. Currently based in Boston, she continues her musical journey as a student at the New England Conservatory, under the guidance of Lluís Claret.

Beyond her classical training, Shoshanah actively participates in a variety of musical endeavors and community outreach initiatives. Shoshanah has worked with the Warner Brothers Studio as a recording studio musician, performed at the Browns halftime show with Opus 216, and collaborated with the Mansfield Orchestra. Additionally, her participation as a fellow at the Colorado College Summer Music Festival has further enriched her musical experiences.

Shoshanah's commitment to education extends beyond her performances. She is interested in pedagogical methods and loves working with students of all ages. As a chamber music coach for the CIM Academy, she has worked with younger musicians, coaching them throughout their progress in chamber music. Through her teaching, she seeks to instill a love for music and share her discoveries with the next generation of cellists.

Fluent in both English and Russian, Shoshanah looks forward to bridging cultural divides and fostering communication across communities. Shoshanah is a native of Westwood, California where she began studying the cello at the age of 13 under Charles Tyler.

In her spare time, Shoshanah enjoys exploring cookbooks of various cuisines, searching for specialty coffee shops, and spending time outdoors.
